Dear Parents/Guardians,

On October 1st & 2nd next (Tuesday and Wednesday) the

“Dogs Trust” Education Team will visit the school. Each class will be introduced to the very important theme of safety around dogs.  This will help the children fully understand the golden rules of how to safely interact with dogs.

The school is a promoter of the “Far East” – a magazine of the Columban Missionaries.  If anybody would like to be included please let Fiona know by October 1st.  The yearly subscription is €10 for 8 issues.

Please inform Fiona if there is any recent change to your address or phone number.

Healthy Lunches

Healthy eating habits are encouraged as a policy throughout the school.

The majority of girls bring very healthy lunches to school.  However,

there are a number who do not bring nourishing food.  Lunches should consist of a drink of milk/fruit juice (no fizzy drinks), brown bread/fruit/sandwiches etc.  Please keep sweet snacks as a treat.

Crisps and such savoury snacks are not allowed.  Plain popcorn is a

healthy alternative – in a reusable container, please.  All lunch

wrappings etc. must be brought home.

P.T.O. →
