Dear Parents/Guardians,

Our school concert will take place in the Parish Church tomorrow (16th) at 11.15a.m.  The front seats of each row will be reserved for the pupils so I ask you not to sit on reserved seats.  The pupils and teachers have worked very hard for this concert so we are all looking forward to a very enjoyable event.  The concert will finish around 12.15/12.30.

This concert will be recorded on DVD.  Should you wish that your child not be included in the recording, you must let me know in writing immediately.

The DVDs will be available to buy at €8 each from Louise Sutherland (086 4086961).  Please make contact directly with Louise should you wish to purchase a copy.

The recent St. Vincent de Paul sale was a great success.  Thanks to everybody who contributed in any way.  A special word of thanks to

6th class and Mrs. Garahy who worked so hard to ensure the success of the sale.  The amount raised was €1379.  Well done!

Well done to 5th and 6th classes who recently performed at the Wolseley Singers concert in Mount Wolseley.

4th class are finishing swimming this week.  2nd class will be starting on 7th January.

Drama with Keelin has finished for this year.  We look forward to welcoming Carolanne back for gymnastics in January.

The Parents Association organised a bag pack in Super Valu on Thursday 11th December.  €605 was collected.  Thanks to all the people who volunteered to pack and to those who contributed.  This money will be used to buy Tablets for the junior classes.

Our school mass is on Thursday next 18th at 9.30a.m. in the Parish Church.  Please ensure your child is in school on time that day as we will be going to the Church without delay.  This mass will be an occasion where family members can join in our Christmas Mass celebration.

Christmas Holidays: School will finish at 12 noon on Friday 19th December and will reopen on Monday 5th January 2015.
